Account Ownership and Student Data
The ownership of an easyCBM account and the ownership of the student data within are two separate types of ownership, below we clarify how to navigate them.
easyCBM Account Owner: The person whose email address is associated with the account is considered "the owner of the account" and responsible for all the info within.
Student Data Owner: All data collected on students throughout the assessment process is property of the school in which the data was collected.
Account Owner Changing Schools: If the owner of the account changes schools, the student data does not transfer with the account. When relocating to a different school, we recommend that you touch base with your school administrator to inquire if "transferring your account" to another owner is needed so the student data continues to be utilized. If there is no "account transfer" needed, we recommend deleting the account entirely and starting a new account at your new school*.
*If you have remaining months of service on your subscription and are changing schools, notify easyCBM support and we'll make sure the remaining time is added onto your new account.

For more information on Deleting an account:
If an account has remained idle for 18-months, it is considered abandoned and will be removed from the system, deleting all data within the account permanently.
