Account Transfer without Account Owner

Due to FERPA laws and data privacy regulations, the easyCBM Lite and Deluxe accounts do not allow for the migrating of student data between accounts, nor does it allow for the transfer of account ownership without the original account owner's permission.​


If you would like to transfer account ownership, and the original account owner is not available, you have two options:


First, an original sales receipt may be provided to prove ownership of the account. After ownership is confirmed, we'll need the name and email address of the original account holder and the name and emails address of the person taking over the account.


Second, if you do not have a sales receipt , someone in an administrative capacity may make a digital transfer request. The request must be posted on school letterhead and have that person include their job title and name. Please make sure to provide us the name and email address of the original account owner and give ​​us the name and email address of the person taking over the account. We will then be able to turn account ownership over to a designated person.
