Maze Measures

Our easyCBM program does not have Maze Reading measures. Though these passages with missing words (at random or on a set intervals) and possible choices can be a good assessment of comprehension, we chose not to make them a part of easyCBM.

The issue with Maze measures, in terms of progress monitoring, is that the "difficulty" of each item depends on whether or not the student correctly responded to the previous item(s), so it is nearly impossible to create comparable alternate forms.
