TEKS and easyCBM Alignment
In 2012 – 2013, we conducted an alignment study of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and the easyCBM benchmarks with Texas teachers (from Tyler ISD) for all grades and measures. While we do not report these results on an item-by-item basis, we do report the proportion of TEKS covered by each seasonal form, and the specific standards addressed.
Here is a link to a summary of findings for the Math measures (NCTM Math and CCSS Math): http://www.brtprojects.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/GrK-8TEKS_MathReport.pdf
In the Math summary report, you will see that alignment was gauged for both on- and prior-grade TEKS. In the Reading report, just on-grade TEKS were examined. Strength of alignment was rated on a scale of 0 to 2, where: 0 = not aligned, 1 = somewhat aligned, and 2 = directly aligned. The decimal values reported for alignment reflect this scale, typically across all items at a given TEKS grade-level. Reported %s typically indicate the proportion of grade-level TEKS addressed by that particular grade-level/content area easyCBM assessment.

This information, while not item-level, might help one efficiently ascertain which standards can be targeted by the different easyCBM benchmark (and by proxy, progress-monitoring) assessments.
