Editing an Intervention

When you edit an intervention, you have two options of views to select

Simple Intervention View

When you select the simple view, you will be directed to a list of student names where you can perform basic edits. Choose a student name and click on their Intervention link. You will then be redirected to another page where intervention items such as Date, Subject, Label, and Description can be edited. Changes take effect after clicking on the Save icon.

Template Intervention View

When one or more parts of an intervention are changed (for instance, moving the student to a smaller group for instruction, increasing the duration or frequency of the intervention, or changing curricula or instructional strategies), this change should be noted in the records. To make this happen, first deactivate the original intervention (logging the date on which it was changed) and then apply the intervention to the student again, with the new date, then edit the newly-applied intervention to alter the name and the specific details that were changed.

Selecting the Template Intervention View will give you a list of interventions followed by a list of students. Go to the student list and select the group and/or student you will be editing. In the pop-up window, click on the Inactive link. Now select the edit link next to the Intervention name. You will be directed to the intervention template.

If there are so many changes that it would be easier to simply enter a new intervention, that is also an option, of course. Either way, the new or edited intervention will be plotted on the Individual student progress monitoring graphs once it has been applied.
