Benchmark Test Window Settings
Benchmark online tests are assigned by the program, not the teacher. Before the program can assign a benchmark test, make sure students are grouped and activated in those groups, and the date range setting is open.
Teachers select the range of testing dates. Remember, benchmark tests are only assigned on-grade and to students in grade K-8 (for off-grade testing, use the teacher assigned progress monitoring measures.
When this testing window is open, students will see their benchmark tests when they login to their student portal. If you have the Deluxe program, and you don't want students to see these tests, make sure to put the testing dates outside the current date and testing times.
We recommend making the testing window as short as reasonably possible so all your students' benchmark scores are gathered at approximately the same time each season. Each window should only span 3 weeks or less. A benchmark window needs to be current for testing and only one testing window open at a time. The dates also need to be moving forward in time.
To set/adjust dates, go to the Account tab and click on Manage Settings. In the Benchmark Window Settings, adjust the opening and closing dates for Fall. Winter, and Spring testing.
