Benchmark Window Settings
Benchmark tests will be assigned by the program, not the teacher. In order for the program to assign a Benchmark test, your "Benchmark Window Setting" must be open.
To open the "Benchmark Testing Window", the teachers will need to select a range of testing dates in which to administer the test(s). Keep in mind that benchmark tests are only assigned to students in the corresponding grade level in grades K-8 (on-grade).
For details on "how to off-grade test" students in grades 9-12 using the K-8 Progress Monitoring Measures, please refer to our Off-Grade Testing article.
When the testing window is open, students will see the benchmark tests available when they login through their student portal. We recommend making the testing window as short as reasonably possible, so all your students' benchmark scores are gathered at approximately the same time each season. Each window should only span 3 weeks or less.
To set the date range of your "Benchmark Window", login to your easyCBM Dashboard and click on the Account tab.

Next, select the blue "Manage Settings" button

At the top of the page is the "Benchmark Window Settings" section, here you can adjust the opening and closing dates for Fall, Winter, and Spring testing by clicking on the drop-down arrow next to the date and adjusting it to the needed day/month/year. In this case the date range needs to be updated from the 24-25 year to the 25-26 year. (pictured below)

*Note: if there are any conflicting date ranges, you will receive a red "Error" warning and message below the dates on what needs to be fixed. (example below)

Last, once you're finished updating the ranges, click the "Save Changes" button to finish.

Once you're finished, your date ranges should look similar to the example below.

Now that your Benchmark Window ranges are set, students will be able to login during these dates and take the benchmark test(s).
