Remove Student Profile (Deactivate)

When you remove a student from your roster, you are removing them from your view, but their data remains backed up in the easyCBM system. This is so a student can be reactivated, along with their data, should they move away and come back, or if they are accidentally removed from an account. Removing student profiles will also allow you to stay under the 200 student limit without permanently deleting their data.


To remove a student profile, login to your easyCBM Dashboard and click on the Student tab.


Next, locate the student name and click on the red "Trash Can" icon.


Last, you will be directed to a confirmation page informing the user that the profile will be "Deactivated".  The name of the student profile will be listed at the bottom, once confirmed, click "Deactivate" to finish.



Reactivating a Student Profile

The easyCBM support team can "Reactivate" a student that has been "Deactivated".


If you try to add a student back into your account by creating another profile, the program will consider the addition a "new student" and a duplicate profile will be created. Duplicate profiles cannot be merged together, please contact us at support@easycbm.com for assistance in reactivation to avoid this issue.
