Student reactivation
Once a student is deleted, or becomes inactive, they remain in your account but are unseen and unretrievable by you. To restore students back to active status, you will need to contact the easyCBM support team. If you try to re-enter a student back into to your account manually, it will only create a duplicate version of your student with no data.
If you need a total of 35 students or under reactivated, please provide us with your account email address along with an alphabetized list of students (last name, first name).
If you have more than 35 students, we will restore all of the inactive students in your account and you can edit out the students no longer needing active status. If the restoration exceeds 200 students, we will give a one-week restoration period in order to reach your 200 active student limit. After that we will randomly remove the amount of students needed to reach the 200 student account limit.
Please be aware if there are more than one version of a student reactivated (due to another version being previously deleted) both version will be restored unless one version has no data. There will be no way to merge two versions of a student. If this is the case, you have two options:
- We recommend you determine which of the two student versions has the fewest assessments associated with it, then print out the student’s responses for each of the tests in that account . Then, you will manually enter those test responses/scores into the version with the greater number of tests. Make sure you have entered ALL the tests, with the appropriate dates taken, and then delete the student version with the least data in it.
- If that option is not feasible, you will need to make a distinction between the two student names in order to lessen confusion with the student making their test selections. Moving forward, you will have to have the student choose the name version which you determine is the best for your testing purposes.
