Convert a Roster to .CSV file
"Save As" CSV File (Excel)
Once you have downloaded and edited your roster, to save the roster in the needed CSV file format:
Click on the File tab.

Then "Save as".

Before hitting the save button, make sure to double check the "format". The file will need to be saved in the (.csv) format. (example below)

"Download" CSV File (Google Sheets)
Once you have downloaded and edited your roster, to save the roster in the needed CSV file format.
Click on the File tab.

Next, select "Download" and then the "Comma Separated Values (.csv)" format.


Once selected, the roster will download/save as a CSV file.
"Export" to CSV (Numbers)
When you download a current template, your roster appears as a table in the "Numbers" application. In this format, you can edit your students and their information. When it comes time to upload the edited roster, you will need to convert it to a .CSV format.
To convert a "Numbers document to .CSV format, click on your Numbers roster and go to the top left corner of your screen. Under the File dropdown window appears, scroll down to the Export To option, hit the > and slide over to and then down the column to highlight CSV...

After you have chosen the .CSV format, a pop-up window will appear. Click Save and your roster is ready for upload.
