Students: Reactivating a student
When you delete a student in your account, you are really deactivating them.
The easyCBM Lite/Deluxe support site can reactivate students that have been deleted. If you try to add a student back into your account, the program will consider the addition a new student and will create a duplicate version. Duplicate students cannot be merged together so it is best to write for assistance when reactivating student(s).
Deleted students become inactive students. but still remain in your account with their data and become unavailable to you. Only active students count towards the 200 student limit. This is so a student can be reactivated, along with their data, should they move away and come back or they are accidentally deleted from the account.
You can request us to reactivate a student(s) but, in so doing, we will still need to maintain a 200 student limit. So if you have 198 students in your account, and you need 3 reactivated, you will first need to remove/delete one student in order for us to reactivate one student and keep the total active students to 200.
To restore a group of 50 students or less, please provide us with the account email address and an alphabetized list of students (Last Name, First Name) in an Excel file. If more than 50 students need to be reactivated, reply back to us and let us know the total number of students to reactivate and we will work out a plan to restore your students.
