What are the benchmark testing dates/ percentile scores align to?

The Norms and the date range for the norm measures are calculated from the benchmark data derived from the District users of easyCBM. Since the date range when benchmark tests could be administered is left up to the district themselves, the range is quite larger than the one we suggest.

We offer a suggestion when the 3 benchmark tests are to be administered and that is the default dates set on the date range setting. While those are the dates we suggest, when testing takes place is always left up to the account user/district. Those suggested dates are:

Fall Sept. 1 - Sept. 30, 2023

Winter Jan. 1- Jan. 31, 2024

Spring April 1 - April 30, 2024

To look up a percentile on the norms/percentiles table, your benchmark tests should be given sometime during the range when the norms were calculated, and not outside of that range, in order for the scores to align with your student's scores.

Fall: September 1st - December 31st

Winter: January 1st - March 31st
