Troubleshooting: Recaptcha Error Message

When I am trying to register when I click on "I'm not a robot" it says problem with recaptcha, check your internet.

This could happen for a few reasons:

Are you using a recent browser version?

Are there any plugins or proxy configurations active which might interfere with google's recaptcha service?

Are you using a VPN or proxy which blocks google recaptcha?

One work around to the problem would be to sign up on another computer,or a phone. Once the account is created, the captcha won't be needed again (unless a password is forgotten).
