Timing of Tests

The timing of the easyCBM progress monitoring tests is left up to the teacher, it’s just important to be consistent. A student could start, leave, and even come back and finish a test later. Once a student logs back on, the test will pick up where the student left off.

For universal screening / benchmarking, we recommend adopting a standardized time-frame during which students must complete the tests (approximately 15 minutes for the Vocabulary tests, 30 minutes for the Proficient Mathematics tests, 15 minutes for the Basic Mathematics tests and domain-specific Math Progress Monitoring tests, 20 minutes for the Basic Reading tests, and 45 minutes for the Proficient Reading tests).
