DIBELS: I am trying to migrate our DIBELS Math students to my easyCBM Deluxe account. I cannot figure out how to do this. Can you help?

While the DIBELS program used the easyCBM measures in its system, the two programs are not interchangeable. Meaning, students and their data do not transfer directly from one program to the other. In essence you are starting over with the easyCBM system and inputting your students via an easyCBM identified roster.

This roster must follow a certain format in order for it to be uploaded into the program. If you use an Excel file, this roster must first be saved as a .csv file. This saves the roster without formatting features.

Next, the roster MUST have only the designated number of columns (9), and the headers must match. The cell contents must also use only the designated range of responses indicated in the instructions. Here is what the roster set-up should look like. Notice the only accepted demographic values are indicated below.

Once the roster is completed, you should be able to upload your student roster into your Deluxe account. To upload, login to your account and click on the Admin tab in the upper right-hand corner of your dashboard. Scroll down to the Students Records section and then click on Upload student roster.

You will be directed to the Student Roster Upload page. If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will be able to browse and select your prepared student roster then click on the Import/Sync Student Roster button.

If the roster has been formatted correctly, the upload will be successful.
